These are sites that offer free counters. Please visit them!

  • Aaddzz free Access Counters and Trackers Service that provides counters with hundreds of cool font styles. Aaddzz also provides free reports about accesses and visitors to pages.
  • FREESTATS Nice stats program that offers lots of useful data. Besides telling you how many hits your page is getting, it will tell you how many unique visitors your page gets every day/month and shows you who they were. It also tells you such useful info as how many unique visitors you got, what countries they came from and more.
  • QStats Provides online feedback surveys and polls, which you can easily customize online to the needs of your site. QStats also provides an intelligent visitor counter (QCount). All services free for sites with less than 5,000 visitors per day.
  • WebSide Story- Not strictly a free counter service, but it serves that purpose well. You sign up whatever pages you want and then they'll be ranked by hits in the category of your choice. You can then view that page's stats and get such useful info as forecast on how many hits you can expect that day. This cool service is also useful for getting more hits, as other surfers who browse the list will click in from time to time. To see WebSide Story's stats for the Amazing Free Stuff's welcome page, click here.
  • DBasics Counter service. One of the coolest, most informative, easiest to set up counter services around. Actually, you get a lot more info than just a counter; there's all kinds of useful stats. Ask about their free 3-day trial.
  • NedStat Outstanding free counter with all kinds of detailed stats, including what page referred your visitors to you---a feature that I believe makes NedStat unique among free trackers. The only catch: it's in Dutch, so it's not easy to sign up for the service (although I was able to sign up after a few minutes). They promise an English version soon.
  • WebTracker Very sophisticated service and one of the biggest counter services on the Web. They offer a number of nice features, including the ability to link to your stats from your page.
  • Web Pal Counter WebPal generates hourly, daily and monthly reports. Each report contains accesses, browsers and hosts statistics. Not free, but a trial period available.
  • Free Web Counter Fill out a survey and get a free easy-to-use counter. Nice.
  • I-count Another free Web page counter.
  • HTML access counter An easy to set up page counter.
  • The Museum of Counter Art - Tired of the same lame-looking counter on your page? Check out this site which has 500 sets of free counter artwork for anyone to use. The counter sets can be used with most any counter CGI, across all platforms.
  • WWW Home page access counter and clock
  • Page Count Counter service with good & bad news. The good---it provides lots of stats: How many people viewed your page; a breakdown of page views by date, day, and time; a list of where the requests for your page originated; the hostnames of the visitors! (up to 100 max) and unlimited hits. The bad news is you have to display their banner.
  • Site-Stats Here's the deal: you give them space for a billboard; they provide you with counter stats.
  • LBInet free counter service A good basic counter. Just go to the site, fill out a form and they'll E-mail the HTML you need to put on your page.
  • HVB Counter Free counter service. Here's the deal: no more than one counter per site and you must not get over 500 hits/day.
  • Dyno Counter Just cut & paste some code and Viola! you've got a counter.
  • Infinitek Counter Fill out a form; get a cool looking counter (there's only one design choice, however).
  • IP-Stat IP-Stat is a free counter for Web sites and home pages. But it isn't just a counter. It offers a lot of useful statistics about the person who visited your site, like the country, or even the browser he or she was using.
  • JCount JCount is a set of animated web page access counters that are available as free access counters. Paid subscription service available, too.
